BABES AGAINST CANCER BABES AGAINST CANCER (formerly known as the Babe Zaharias Tournaments) raises over $1 million annually through the joint efforts of over 600 volunteers and 5,000 participants at 30 country clubs in the New York Metro area. Established in 1972, BABES AGAINST CANCER has generated over $25 million to support the American Cancer Society’s research, public education, advocacy and patient/family services programs in the areas of breast and prostate cancers.
